Leica M2 Black Paint RP

The Leica M2 - 1958 - became esthetically and technically the basis for that of all future models. Different than you would expect the M2 was released after the Leica M3 and is technically superior to the M3.

This Leica M2 was repainted over brass. This means the chrome was chemically stripped down and then painted. So it will develop a beautiful brass patina over time. It was fully serviced and got a new shutter curtain.
