Terms of service.

Light Leak Club (“Light Leak Club”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile app for cataloguing cameras, tracking their value and sharing film photography, operated by Lenard Kroj (grainoverpixel), Weyerstr. 74, 50676 Köln, Germany. By downloading, accessing or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and us — not with Apple, Google or any app store.

You must be old enough under the law of your country to enter into this agreement and to consent to the processing of your data. If you are a minor, you may only use the app with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at info@lightleakclub.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

You keep ownership of the photos, captions and other content you upload (“your content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g. resize) and display your content solely to operate and provide the app — including, where you choose to publish, on public shareable pages. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual copies in backups and content others have already re-shared outside our control.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to it, including the rights of any people depicted.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not upload, post or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, that depicts or exploits minors, that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy, or that is otherwise objectionable. You must not impersonate others, spam, or abuse, harass or threaten other users.

Photos are reviewed before they can appear publicly. Within the app you can report objectionable content and block abusive users. We review reports and act on objectionable content — typically within 24 hours — by removing it and, where appropriate, suspending or removing the users responsible. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms.

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that harms other users, us or third parties.

The app is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for injury to life, body or health, or for intent and gross negligence). Value estimates shown in the app are indicative only and are not an offer, appraisal or investment advice.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Questions? Contact us at info@lightleakclub.com.
