
The Leica MD-2 is the last simplified M-camera for technical work. Based on the M4-2 body. Although announced in 1976, the first serial num- ber recorded belonged to 1980. Today it is mainly used with a external viewfinder and wide angle lenses for street photography.
Characteristics
* M4-2 body without viewfinder, rangefinder or self-timer, but with hotshoe and two flash sockets on the back and circuitry and power shaft for motor winder.
* Novel film speed reminder on back, consisting of aluminium disc
